Since its establishment in 1965, K-MAX has specialized in mechanical equipment manufacturing and precision mold production. Over time, the company expanded into the aerospace, energy, and chemical industries, undertaking major domestic and international projects such as ultra-low temperature storage tanks and ultra-pure water system installations.
From 1989 to 1999, K-MAX entered a period of industrial transformation, gradually expanding its business into the semiconductor and optoelectronics industries. During this time, the company successfully undertook several major ultrapure water system projects for leading semiconductor manufacturers. By integrating technologies, it provided diversified and comprehensive solutions. In 1998, the company officially established a sales division for semiconductor and optoelectronic components, laying the foundation for its position as a professional supplier of consumable components for the semiconductor industry.
In 2002, K-MAX established its Shanghai office in China. In 2003, the company was renamed K-MAX Technology Co., Ltd., marking a stronger focus on expanding into overseas markets and enhancing operational efficiency. In 2008, it further established a branch office in Singapore and an R&D center in Taoyuan. In 2024, the company founded K-MAX Technology Japan (ケーマックステクノロジー株式会社), demonstrating its vision and commitment to a global strategic presence.
K-MAX has obtained multiple international certifications, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001, demonstrating its strong commitment to quality and environmental management.
Over the years, the company has actively introduced advanced equipment such as laser 3D scanners, X-ray fluorescence analyzers, and Scanning Acoustic Tomography (SAT) systems. A photolithography department was also established, incorporating helium-neon laser surface cleanliness measurement instruments and laser cleaning machines.
In addition, multiple production and cleaning lines have been set up to fully optimize manufacturing processes. With a focus on the research and development of various electrostatic chucks (ESCs), the company has successfully evolved into a leading domestic ESC manufacturer, continuously contributing to innovation and advancement in the semiconductor industry.
